Get Your Life Organized With A Personal Concierge

Organizing doesn't happen naturally to everyone, but most of us recognize that better organization frees us from doing more of what we like and reducing frustration and wasted resources. Organization today creates a sense of calm. At Vivodomi, our executive assistant NYC recognizes the value of organization and appreciates how an organization with little effort gives us more leeway to give things we love the most.

TIPS FOR SIMPLE, STRESSED ORGANIZED LIFE

Organizing life according to the calendar of the year is one great approach to organizing things. Try grouping tasks according to when and how often they occur. Here are some ideas you may find helpful:

Plan your annual tasks for a more organized year

Start with a list of all the tasks and appointments you need each year. Then divide the tasks into months when they usually happen. If they don't have a deadline, great - you can pepper them all year round to reduce stress and bottle bloating. Maybe your birthday is a good time. The beginning of spring or the New Year can be both an ideal and symbolic time to start something new.

Consider these organizing projects that we recommend each year:

Set birthdays, anniversaries and other annual holidays. It is so easy to let these important dates appear to us and become belated late wishes. If we do not observe these special times, we will be able to feel guilty. Review the list at the beginning of the year and mark them on the calendar. Hiring a personal concierge can also be a great help, helping you shop and mail.

Make appointments for annual physical work and vet check-ups. It is not always possible or practical to schedule a doctor's appointment year after year, but whenever possible, that's fine. By planning ahead of time, you will have more flexibility during appointments that work according to your schedule.

Clean your closet. Admit it - You’ll love the extra closet space, and you can feel good about donating tax-deductible funds to your favourite charity. The same idea can be used on bookshelves, pantries and other places in your home. If it's been there for a year plus and you haven't seen, eaten or consumed it, it's unlikely you will.

Review your big goals. By being aware of your desires, you bring them closer to realization. Do you want to go on a big trip? Write your own novel? What are the next steps? Are you closer than this year? These goals can be checked off – or at least be much closer to being realized.
